30-Hour virtual Ground School - from the comfort of your home
4-Hour Fixed-Based Simulator Training - on-site at our ATI Training Center Miami, Florida
6-Hour Full-Flight Simulator Training - on-site at our ATI Training Center Miami, Florida
The ATP-CTP course is delivered virtually for ground school and completed entirely in-house for simulator training, using our own FAA-approved facility and simulators. We do not outsource training.
After ground school completion, you have 60 days to complete simulator training. Sessions are scheduled based on partner availability, allowing for efficient pairing and reduced downtime.

What is the Airline Transport Pilot - Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP) Course?
Following the crash of Colgan Air flight 3407 in 2009, the FAA added the Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) as a prerequisite to taking the ATP Knowledge Test. The ATP CTP course is designed to bridge the knowledge gap between a pilot who holds a commercial pilot certificate and a pilot operating in an air carrier environment. IATS provides the course to bridge this gap in the essential subject areas.
IATS believes in setting a higher standard for the ATP-CTP training. Our innovative training methodologies are designed to captivate trainees throughout the process. With interactive sessions led by experienced Airline and Corporate Captains on Zoom, we offer a learning environment that is as enriching as it is enjoyable. The flight training portion is typically conducted in an Airbus A330 which is aircraft generic.

Virtual Ground school will entail 32 hours of instructor led Zoom sessions, typically scheduled for Tuesday - Fridays.
Flight Training Day one: 4 hours of FTD training.
Flight Training Day two: 6 hours of FFS training.
Thereafter you will receive your ATP-CTP certificate which never expires!

Day 1: Aerodynamics
Day 2: Meteorology and Air Carrier Operations
Day 3: Air Carrier Operations cont.
Day 4: Leadership and Professional Development, CRM, and Safety Culture.
Flight Training:
Day 1: Navigation and Automation
Day 2: Runway Safety and Adverse Weather, and High Altitude Ops and Stall Upset and Recovery.
